Merry Christmas

Once again we are to celebrate Christmas or what others would call it, Thanksgiving, a season which most people excitedly anticipate. Well, who doesn’t? I mean, everyone’s excited to receive tons of presents and of course, the much awaited cash.

Anyway, Christmas party at LGV last night was so much fun. The party was pot lucked, and my mom decided to bring one of my favorites, carrot cake. I know, it doesn’t sound like any mouth-watering dessert or whatsoever, but it’s really good. Apparently, I didn’t have it for dessert and decided to save my appetite and eat plenty of it at home. I also ate salad and the usual spaghetti and chicken cuisine. The salad, by the way, was really good.

After eating, Mela, Angge and I chatted along with the little kids of all the titos and titas who came at the party. Having some “kid” conversations once in a while can be a lot of fun after all, especially when you don’t have anyone to talk to during a party. Unfortunately, Katz and Chelly didn’t come. Katz had a tonsil thing going on, and Chelly had a review for her masters degree for the US thing. They are usually the ones who bring stuff during parties to avoid boredom, as they explain it. Sadly, they didn’t come to the party this year.

30 minutes after our “kid” conversation, we played basketball and had a little star gazing moment. And by the way, Mio had the cutest dog, well, next to Ashley’s. I’m talking about puppies here.

12:30am and still up. We went online with Mio, who kept shouting and bragging stuff to his online friends using the mic. Oh great. I didn’t knew Mio had a “girlfriend” named Anna. Maui too, had a “girlfriend”. I saw plenty of Maui’s testimonials and almost everyone wrote: “Sara Yap! Sara Yap!” which I think is the name of his so called “girlfriend”. Now I know why he had been using his phone all night.

1:30am and still up. Mio downloaded some songs and we had a jamming session. We didn’t have anything to do that time so we sang almost every song we knew. Boredom time. I didn’t have any shots, since I never drink, and YOU know that. Funny though, Jack had a bottle of SanMiguel light and was tipsy, even before he finished it.

2:00am. Finally people we’re starting to leave and soon, we also did. I had a great time at the party, which was usual. I just wish Katz and Chelly were there, it would have been a lot more fun than it had been.

P.S. The salad was really superb.

SWEEP!!

Oo nga naman, maganda nga naman pakinggan ang back-to back-sweep.

Pero mas maganda parin pakinggan ang back-to-back-to-back-sweep.

Kayang kaya.

Bahala na si Lord.

rant3

So far, our team is, well, being too dependent to someone or something that it comes to a point wherein we couldn't think for ourselves inside the court. It's true, (bawat error, tingin agad sa kanya) and poof, wala, kakabahan na ulit.

Good thing coach Tin was there. After the game, she discussed something about our 'being too dependent attitude' towards someone. She told us, how paranoid and scared we can be at times and that even our coach cannot read what is going on in our minds between a long rally, like what happened yesterday. Saan na kaya napunta ang velocity?

After the game...

We went straight to Ash's house and celebrated Cathy and Averil's birthday. We had fun eating dessert and the-much-awaited-nachos. btw, our team already has an official band called 'barefoot' (dont' ask), Sir Ed named us. It does sound like Switchfoot, I know. But what the heck, they are waaaaaay better than us. Poink. haha. But who knows? A little more practice can do it(weh).

We watched Air Bud. Try to imagine a dog tossing a ball. Di rin. We didn't finish the movie though. hehe. But it was fun watching the four-touches game with a dog tossing. Poink.

Right now, I'm just waiting for Yellow Cab to arrive and give me pizza.

P.S.
ash: I want an iPod! Poink.
ina: Special mention! haha. Nice stat. 'lead me not into temptation...i know my way'. Another one: "when life give you lemons, make lemonade out of them and throw it at the person who gave you lemons and demand for the oranges you originally asked for."
viene: No more headbang
